API Overview

The AKZ REST API is built for high speed, reliability, and security. Designed with JSON caching, offline MMDB integration, and fair credit accounting.

Authentication & License Keys

Every API request (except public health and counters endpoints) requires a valid License Key with prefix akz_.

Method 1: Bearer Header (Recommended)

Authorization: Bearer akz_xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Method 2: Query Parameter

GET /api/v1/geo?ip=8.8.8.8&secret=akz_xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Credit Deduction Rules

1 Credit Deducted: On every successful status 200 OK response.

Cached Responses: Still deduct 1 credit because cached data represents an already validated successful response.

Zero Deduction on Errors: If request fails, parameters are invalid, or external upstream errors occur, no credits are deducted.
